CEO & Co-Founder
Mansoor adds decades of management and investment experience to the Petros PACE Finance team. Prior to Petros, he was the CEO of Accent Capital and was responsible for the investment and administrative activities of the firm. He was also a managing director at Transamerica Technology Finance Corporation and a principal at Sternhill Partners, a $100 million venture capital firm based in Houston.
Prior to joining Sternhill Partners, Mansoor held SVP and VP roles at Imperial Bank (acquired by Comerica Bank) and the National Accounts Division of Silicon Valley Bank. He is also currently a venture partner with Sentient Ventures, a private equity firm.
Mansoor holds a BS in finance from Santa Clara University, California and an MBA in business administration from Northeastern University.
CFO & Co-Founder
Jim has structured nearly a billion dollars in sophisticated fixed-income investments and other investments for institutional and private investors.
As CFO, Jim raises the investment capital for Petros PACE Finance and Petros’ other investment funds from institutional investors. He co-leads the firm’s advisory services, advising private and public clients on alternative investment opportunities and the monetization of various tax credit and other financial incentives.
Jim is also an investment committee member for Petros’ investment funds, focusing on the financing of growth-stage, lower middle-market companies.
Previously, Jim has worked as CFO and COO at Enhanced Capital, a diversified national asset management firm that provides investment capital to small businesses. Prior to Enhanced Capital, Jim worked at Reservoir Capital Group, a $7 billion New York-based private investment firm. Prior to Reservoir Capital Group, Jim held senior positions in the finance and operations departments of two Fortune 50 companies, Dell and Procter & Gamble.
Jim holds an undergraduate degree in engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA with a concentration in finance from SMU in Dallas.
Chief Operating Officer
Tommy Deavenport is the Chief Operating Officer of Petros PACE Finance. Tommy has over 30 years of experience in the financial services sector. Prior to Petros, Tommy was on the founding team and a Managing Director of Square 1 Bank (acquired by Pacific Western Bank).
Prior to Square 1 Bank, Tommy served at AV Labs, an accelerator fund of Austin Ventures.
Prior to AV Labs, Tommy held a SVP role at Imperial Bank (acquired by Comerica). He was also a co-founder of VCFO, a leading fractional accounting firm headquartered in Austin.
Tommy holds a BBA in accounting from Texas State University and is a Texas CPA.
SVP – PACE Originations
Jake Kelley has spent his entire 17-year career in the commercial real estate finance business. He was the founder and principal of Redbud Capital, an Austin-based boutique advisory business focused on arranging debt & equity capital on behalf of institutional and private CRE investors/developers. Prior to forming Redbud Capital, Mr. Kelley led JLL’s Capital Markets business in central Texas, and prior to that he was a partner in CBRE’s Debt & Equity Finance business, both based in Austin. Before moving to Texas, Mr. Kelley worked in the New York office of Terra Capital Partners where he sourced mezzanine debt investments for the company’s high-yield debt funds. Prior to that, he was a Director in Lehman Brothers’ London office where he originated structured-debt investments secured by European assets. Mr. Kelley began his career on Morgan Stanley’s CMBS desk in New York. He holds a BBA in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin.
Vice President, Legal
Nihar is based in California and is primarily responsible for the drafting and negotiation of documents for the national Petros PACE Finance business. Nihar began his career as in-house counsel for United Wind, a small wind developer, where he helped develop the first consumer finance platform for lessees of small wind turbines. Subsequent to United Wind, Nihar joined OnPACE Energy Solutions as Chief Operating Officer, where he negotiated the first institutional tax equity investment into a commercial PACE platform.
Nihar holds a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Columbia University, and holds a J.D. from the NYU School of Law.
Vice President, Strategic Initiatives
Cliff brings expertise in commercial banking and public policy to the Petros team. From 2015 to 2017, Cliff served the White House liaison to Detroit, leading the federal government’s response to the City’s crisis. At the Mayor’s request, he organized a collaborative of banks and counseling agencies to offer a new mortgage – the Detroit Home Mortgage — to help raise home values. Cliff served two tours of duty with the US Department of the Treasury. He launched and directed the State Small Business Credit Initiative which has risk-shared in over 12,000 small business loans and investments amounting to $9 billion. In the Clinton Administration, he helped design and enact the New Markets Tax Credit.
Cliff served as President & CEO of City First Bank, Washington, DC’s first CDFI bank. During his tenure, the Bank tripled its loan portfolio, raised new shareholder capital, and moved into new headquarters. Early in his career, he honed his development banking skills for seven years at ShoreBank in Chicago. Cliff holds a JD from Yale Law School and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Business Development Officer
Rachel Davis is a Business Development Officer of Petros PACE Finance. Rachel is based in Texas and focuses on building our PACE business in Houston and in other select PACE markets throughout the country.
She began her career at Reliant Energy, a Houston based provider of electricity and smart energy services. As a Marketing Manager, she spent 12 years working with customers and consultants managing commodity price risk through electricity contracts in Texas and the Northeast. Most recently, Rachel led a national business development team for NRG Energy, a Fortune 200 energy company, where along with her team, she pursued partnerships for onsite/offsite solar, wind, community solar, energy efficiency and combined heat and power systems with Fortune 500 clients. She is immensely proud of her team’s partnerships with US Bank, Macy’s and EcoLab for community solar projects in Minnesota and with Whole Foods Market on their national solar program. Additionally, she worked with strategic partner firms in the energy efficiency sector to develop and implement sales acquisition strategies for thermal energy storage and evaporative pre-cooling solutions for utility programs in California. Most of her experience is with clients in the commercial real estate, retail, hospitality, and banking sectors.
Rachel graduated with honors from Texas A&M University with a BBA in Marketing.
Business Development Officer
Kyle Peczynski is a Business Development Officer of Petros PACE Finance. Kyle is based in Michigan and focuses on building the PACE business in Michigan and in other select PACE markets throughout the country.
He began his career as a Clean Energy Project Manager at Levin Energy Partners, the administrator of the Lean & Green Michigan PACE marketplace. In that capacity, he gained experience in helping to build a PACE market from the ground-up and was responsible for systemizing business processes, presenting PACE to local governments for approval, analyzing potential projects for compliance and financial viability, and working with contractors and property owners to complete projects. He also led the development of Michigan’s first contractor training program, attracting over 100 attendees from across the state.
Since joining Petros, he has been involved in over $10 million in PACE transactions in three different states, ranging from affordable multifamily housing to multi-million dollar commercial real estate projects.
Kyle is a Michigan native with a law degree from Wayne State University Law School and a BA in political science from the University of Michigan. Before working on PACE, Kyle spent time at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in Washington, D.C. as a recipient of the Public Interest Law Fellowship and at the Great Lakes Environmental Law Center in Detroit.
Senior Financial Analyst
Jeffrey Walter is a Senior Financial Analyst of Petros. Prior to joining Petros, Jeffrey was a Portfolio Manager at Wells Fargo. While there, he underwrote a variety of credit and treasury management products for middle market companies. He was also a Financial Analyst at Wells Fargo and successfully completed their Financial Analyst Program.
Jeffrey is a graduate of Illinois State University and has passed all three levels of the CFA Program.
Marcia Singleton is a staff accountant for Petros PACE Finance.
Marcia has over 25 years of accounting experience in both private and public accounting firms. Prior to joining the Petros team, she worked at Carr Riggs & Ingram LLC, focusing on financial services, client training and support, and tax preparation.
Marcia holds a degree in Accounting from Merrick College in North Andover, MA and is a Certified QuickBooks Pro-Advisor.
As a Transaction Specialist, Amy supports the Petros PACE Finance team in underwriting and closing PACE financial transactions. Prior to joining Petros, Amy was a seasoned legal assistant with extensive experience in litigation and complex corporate transactions.
As a Transaction Specialist, Christina plays an integral role in supporting the Petros PACE Finance team in underwriting and closing PACE financial transactions. Prior to joining Petros, Christina was a seasoned legal assistant with extensive experience in business litigation and complex corporate transactions.
As an Executive Administrator Debbie plays an integral role in supporting the Petros PACE Finance team. Debbie is a seasoned executive assistant with extensive experience in support of high level executives.
